Adrian Broadbent CEO Aerospace & Security Media and Publisher Aviation Maintenance Magazine
8-9th Nov 2012 – London, UK
Building on the recent successful International PMA Summit on 3-4th November 2011 in London, as organisers and publishers of Aviation Maintenance Magazine we are proud to launch the umbrella AVM Summit brand for 2012 and beyond. The AVM Summit event will incorporate a growing number of co-located conferences around a central exhibition. For 2012, the main conference will be that of the PMA Parts Conference but joined by an MRO Software conference. Here are a few words from our Editor in Chief of Aviation Maintenance, Joy Finnegan, who is also the Chair of the overall event. If you would like to propose a speaker for the event then please contact her via jfinnegan@avmain-mag.com
Every penny counts in the volatile aviation arena and can mean the difference between profitability and loss. That has never been clearer than with the recent announcement of American Airlines filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in November 2011.
Aviation Maintenance magazine and key partners have joined together to bring you two simultaneous conferences targeted at helping airlines and aircraft operators work more efficiently and save money. First we bring you the 2nd Annual PMA Conference and as with our first event in November of 2011, this comprehensive, independent event is designed to give you clear insight into the opportunities and challenges associated with PMA usage. In 2012 we will emphasize and focus our information on dealing with leasing company agreements, how to make themost of the Bilateral Aviation Safety Agreements (BASA) and more insights from airlines already using PMAs and how they are benefitting.
We are adding a second MRO Software conference to be held simultaneously, in the same venue. This second conference will target how to harness the power of aviation maintenance-related software. In this event, our partners will bring to light how software, targeted for aircraft maintenance, can help users grow revenues, reduce costs and improve regulatory compliance – a key issue for avoiding run ins with regulators which can lead to fines. Today’s aviation maintenance software is complex, sophisticated and designed to help across the spectrum from the smallest detail to the big picture. Join us here to learn about the many solutions available to help MROs and airlines meet the complex challenge of maintaining aircraft today.
